Meet the Artist
Beth Schuman
Beth Schuman is a jewelry artisan whose work unites sacred design, feminine mythology, and global social impact. With over 15 years of experience in Jewelry-making, her artistic journey began in India, where she worked for a poverty relief organization supporting women and girls through education, housing, and care-based programs. It was there that jewelry first became a tool for transformation—both as a craft and as a means of sustaining grassroots change.
Rooted in that experience, her work today remains a fusion of beauty and purpose. Now based between New York City and India, Beth creates goddess-inspired jewelry with a focus on healing gemstones, sacred symbolism, and spiritual storytelling. Each piece is handcrafted with intention, designed not only to adorn but to empower—to serve as a modern talisman for protection, strength, and connection to the divine.
The foundation of her work lies in a deep reverence for the goddess in all her forms. From the fierce compassion of Mother Kali, and the creative abundance of Lakshmi, to the lunar wildness of Artemis and the intuitive power of Athena, Beth draws from a wide range of spiritual lineages that honor both Eastern and Western traditions— and expressions of the sacred feminine. Her designs often reflect this cross-cultural inspiration, weaving together gemstone color, material, and pattern in ways that evoke archetypal energy and inner transformation.
Her aesthetic blends minimalism with mysticism. Each piece is a quiet invocation, offering the wearer a sense of guidance, ritual, and remembrance. The jewelry is spiritual in nature, grounded in the belief that beauty can hold intention, and that adornment can become a daily act of empowerment.
Beyond the jewelry itself, Beth’s practice remains deeply committed to service. Ten percent of all proceeds from Artemis Fine Jewelry support women- and girl-centered poverty relief programs in India, extending the mission that first brought her to the work. And 50% of her time is still spent in India doing poverty-relief work. This ongoing contribution reflects her belief that true empowerment is both personal and collective.
Her creations are sold through Instagram and at select craft markets, with plans to expand to Etsy and other curated platforms. Each offering is limited and individually crafted, preserving the intimacy and integrity of the work.
Beth Schuman’s jewelry invites wearers to step into their own sacred story—to embody the goddess, carry symbols of meaning, and move through the world with presence and power. It is adornment not only for the body, but for the spirit.
